3 Latin bifolium fragments (leaves are not consecutive). Spain, 16th
century.
Parchment. 196 x 144 (138 x 82) mm. Double vertical bounding lines, ruled
in violet ink.
Text and musical notation on a five line staff. Large initials in red,
brown, and blue. Rubrics and liturgical instructions in red. Additional
antiphons with musical notation added in margins in a hand of the 17th-18th
century.
Formal gothic bookhand.
Provenance: F. 6v contains the inscription: "Per magnum D. D. Maria de henao.
Humilis Ancilla christi illustris monasterii...Scripsit illud Petrus
Ferdinandez Legionensis. Anno 1571. F.F.G." Formerly Beinecke MS 3.32.
