tratucti li animali creati dal altissimo maestro. creatore di tucte le cose
le quali siano sopto posti allumana generatione nullo animale sia piu nobile
delo cavallo...De creatione e nactivitate equorum: In permamente dico dela
cavallo sue ingenerare de lo stallone... [Explicit, ff. 38r-38v:] ...et
provola questa mariscalcia deli cavalli colo imperadore per grande tempo
dimorando collui in sua corte. Explicit liber mariscalcie equorum. Deo
gratias.

Provenance: Laurence Witten acquired the ms. in 1952 from Leo S. Olshki
of Florence and sold it in 1954. Witten reacquired the ms. and sold it to
Yale in 1988.
